Special report by Supervisor Tom Nolan, Aids and ARC anti - discrimination <br />ordinance for Redwood City <br />Supervisor Nolan requested Council adopt an ordinance similar to the San <br />Mateo County Aids and aids associated conditions anti - discriminatory ordinance, <br />and presented a calendar for October for aids awareness month. Supervisor Nolan <br />introduced Margaret Taylor from the San Mateo County Health Department who <br />presented copies of San Mateo County ordinance relating to prohibition against <br />discrimination based on a person suffering from aids or aids associated <br />conditions, and encouraged the council to consider an ordinance. Mayor <br />Greenalch said the following people will be working on this issue; Chairperson <br />LaBerge, City Manager Smith, City Attorney Schricker, Redevelopment Director <br />Michael Church and to the Council legislative committee. <br />MEMO 10/10/89 <br />----------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />2.
