r DUPLICATE AGREEMENT I ORIGINAL This agreement entered this ~ day oW ~ 996, by and between the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, a political subdivision of the State of California, hereinafter called "COUNTY", and the CITY OF .:REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the State of C21ifornia, hereinafter called "CITY". WITNESSETH WHEREAS, authorization for the issuing agencies to contract with the county for processing' Notices of Parking Violations is provided for by Vehicle Code Section 40200.5, and WHEREAS, the parties intend by this agreement to provide for the processing of citations issued for parking violations pursuant to the laws of the State of California, County Ordinances, and Municipal Codes. NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED BY THE PARTIES AS FOLLOWS: I. SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY THE COUNTY. In consideration of the payments hereinafter set forth, the COUNTY shall perform services for the City in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications set forth herein and in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof. II. SUB-CONTRACT Pursuant to this Agreement, COUNTY will provide by way of a separate sub-contract with Lockheed Martin IMS Corporation, hereinafter called "VENDOR", electronic processing of notices of illegal parking violation issued by the agencies. Vendor costs stated in Exhibit A, sub-section V, are those agreed upon by the CITY and the VENDOR. The sub-contract with the Vendor will be administered by the Court Executive Officer/Clerk and Jury Commissioner of the Superior and Municipal Courts of San Mateo County, hereinafter called "CLERK" III. PAYMENTS: In consideration of the services rendered in accordance with all terms, conditions and specifications set forth herein and in Exhibit "A", CITY shall make payment to the COUNTY in the manner specified in Exhibit "A". IV. City Ad Hoc Committee Liaison The CITY will, in conjunction with other San Mateo County Issuing Agencies with whom an Agreement is made for the COUNTY to be the Processing Agency, establish an Ad Hoc Advisory Committee.
