AGREEMENT FOR SERVICE BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AND THE SEQUOIA UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT <br /> <br />This agreement is made as oftkis ~ day of October, 2001 by and between the City <br />of Redwood City (contractor) and the Sequoia Union High School District (SUI-ISD). <br /> <br />Now, therefore the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Services <br /> <br />The Contractor agrees to provide a School Resource Officer four days per week for a total <br />of forty hours per week for nine months at Sequoia High School in accordance with the <br />terms and conditions of this agreement. <br /> <br />2. Scope of Services <br /> <br />The Contractor agrees to provide a School Resource Officer for four days per week at <br />Sequoia High School to assist the school community as needed. <br /> <br />3. Use of Subcontractors <br /> <br />The Contractor shall not assign this agreement or any portion thereof to a third party <br />without the prior written consent of the School District. <br /> <br />4. Insurance . <br /> <br />The Contractor understands the SUHSD does not provide liability, malpractice, or <br />workers compensation insurance for the Contractor. The Contractor is responsible for the <br />maintenance of personal and professional insurance to provide protection for any claims <br />arising out of service under this agreement. The Contractor will provide proof of <br />insurance and will identify SUHSD as an additional insured. <br /> <br />5.
