Stangel <br />Joint Meeting <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />M I N U T E S <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Joint Meeting <br />November 1, 1988 <br />7:35 p.m. <br />Main Library <br />1044 Middlefield Road <br />A joint meeting of the City Council, Planning Commissioners and Historic <br />Resources Advisory Committee was held on this date at 7:35 p.m., in the Conference <br />Room, Main Library, Vice Mayor LaBerge presiding. <br />Councilmen Members present: Buchan, Bury, Claire and Vice Mayor LaBerge <br />Council Members absent: Murray, Stangel and Mayor Greenalch <br />City Staff present: Smith, Jean, Pawloski, Patterson, La Torra, Jany <br />and Jorgenson <br />Commissioners present: Asmus, Audsley, Evans, Ladd, Quirk, Sanfilipo and <br />Chairman Nobles <br />Commissioners absent: None <br />Historic Resources Advisory Committee Members present: Clifford, Cloud, <br />Keith, Kostrikin, Woodhams and Chairman Rolandelli <br />Vice Mayor LaBerge introduced Ken Rolandelli, Chairman of the HRAC, who <br />presented the report on the historic district designation proposal for the <br />Stambaugh - Heller district. Chairman Rolandelli introduced John Merritt from <br />the California Preservation Foundation, who provided valuable information on <br />historic district designation history, benefits, and options, and Senior <br />Planner Charles Jany, who provided additional material on the Stambaugh - <br />Heller area throughout the meeting. <br />-------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />I.
