AGREEMENT <br /> FOR <br /> <br /> DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SERVICES <br /> (FIRE STATION NO. 11) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 23~:d day of ~,p~:~.]_ ,1999, by <br /> <br />and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the State of California, <br />("City"), and W. L. Butler Construction, Inc., of Redwood City, California, the Design/Builder <br />("DB"); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City proposes to construct a new fire station (Fire Station No. 11; the <br />"Project") at 2nd Street and Broadway (the "Site"), in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional design, <br />engineering, construction management and general contractor services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, DB on its behalf and on behalf of the architect and engineer with whom <br />services will be performed, represents that each possesses the experience, and is qualified, to <br />perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, the par'ties agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. DB SERVICES. DB shall perform architectural, engineering, construction <br /> <br />management, general contractor, and related services described in Exhibit "A-E" hereof, <br />attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein.
