Public Hearing - Appeal from the denial by the Zoning <br />Administrator of Application for Architectural Permit <br />for new metal roof and gutters - 1515 Redwood Avenue - <br />W.W. Parsley, appellant (203 -10) <br />Report: Community Development Director 9/3/86 <br />Appeal letter received 8/22/86 <br />Signed receipt for delivery of letter of Notice sent by Certified Mail is on <br />file. <br />Mayor Claire declared the public hearing open at 7:42 p.m. <br />W.W. Parsley_, 1310 Sierra Street, referred to the appeal file distributed to <br />Council, to his statement distributed this evening and to samples of the <br />roofing material whose use has been denied. Mr. Parsley commented concerning <br />the energy conservation value of the proposed roofing material. Mr. Parsley <br />replied to questions relating to the material, stating that what he proposes <br />is aesthetically acceptable to his neighbors, acknowledging that he has not <br />seen a residence with the kind of roof he proposes to construct. <br />Mayor Claire invited anyone else present who wished to speak to do so.
