Stangel <br />M I N U T E S <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Board of Supervisors Chambers <br />401 Marshall Street <br />SEPTEMBER 23, 1985 <br />7:30 p.m. <br />Regular Meeting <br />CALL TO ORDER - 7 :30 p.m., Mayor Britschgi presiding. <br />Councilmen present: Claire, Mosher, Rhodes, Stangel and Mayor Britschgi <br />Councilmen absent: Bury and Chandler <br />Officials and staff present: Smith, Schricker, and Schroe ter, Mott, O'Brien, <br />Schroedl, Guardino, Ponty, Reggetts <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - Councilman Stangel <br />INVOCATION Daniel Vasquez <br />Open Door Community Church <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES - Study Session 9/10/85 <br />City Council 9/16/85 <br />M /S: Mosher /Claire to approve the subject Minutes as submitted. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br />SPECIAL ORDERS OF THE DAY AND PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Mayor Britschgi expressed, on behalf of Council and residents of the City, <br />deep sympathy to those who have suffered loss in the recent Mexico <br />earthquake, and at his invitation, Vice -Mayor Marquez- Mosher reported on the <br />voluntary efforts being undertaken to offer assistance, and referred to the <br />appeal announcement signed by Mayor Britschgi which furnishes information on <br />kinds of donations needed, and locations of agencies, as well as of local <br />businesses where donations are being accepted. <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />Reg.Mtg. <br />9/23/85 <br />MINUTE BOOK NO. 46 <br />Page No. 50 <br />
