MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Board of Supervisors Chambers <br />401 Marshall Street <br />February 28, 1983 <br />Regular Meeting <br />CALL TO ORDER - 7:30 p.m., Mayor Stangel presiding. <br />Councilmen present: Biagi, Britschgi, Claire, Mosher, Rhodes <br />and Mayor Stangel <br />Councilmen absent: Bury <br />Officials and staff present: Smith, Schricker, Tasseff, Hildebrand and <br />Addiego, Schroeter, Gu ardino, O'Brien <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - Councilman Claire <br />INVOCATION - Rev. Virginia Knowles <br />Unitarian Fellowship of Redwood City <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES - City Council, February 7, 1983 <br />City Council, February 14, 1983 <br />M /S: Biagi /Mosher to approve the subject Minutes as submitted. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote, Councilman Mosher abstaining on the Minutes <br />of the 14th and Councilman Claire on the Minutes of the 17th. <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />SPECIAL ORDERS OF THE DAY AND PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />1. Expression of thanks to the community from the family of <br />Patricia Anguiano (301 -03) <br />Continued to March 7, 1983 at the request of representative who was <br />unable to be present. <br />2. Presentation of Resolution recognizing community service <br />of Bob Asbury in connection with CART (Community Artist <br />Residency Training) Program (301 -05) <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9302 HONORING BOB ASBURY <br />Mayor Stangel presented a framed parchmnent copy of RESOLUTION NO. 9302 <br />adoped unanimously by consensus of Council, to Bob Asbury and commended <br />him for his important contribution to the community. <br />Bob Asbury thanked Council for the recognition of his efforts and thanked <br />Betty Moran and Susan Swope of the Civic Cultural Commission and Sally <br />Hartman of the Parks and Recreation Department for their parts in making <br />Redwood City's CART Week the most successful in California. <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />Reg.Mtg. <br />2/28/83 <br />MINUTE BOOK NO. 44 <br />Page No. 63 <br />
