Redevelopment Project No.2 - The Redwood <br />City Community Development Project <br /> <br />Mayor Stangel introduced Frank Fargo of <br />Wainwright & Ramsey, financial consultants <br />for the Redevelopment Agency, and City <br />Manager Smith who is Executive Director of <br />the Agency. <br /> <br />Mr. Smith offered a slide presentation describing redevelopment plans similar <br />to the kind being proposed, the financial arrangements and the benefits <br />anticipated. <br /> <br />City Clerk Hildebrand produced the Affidavit of Publication of Notice of Joint <br />Public Hearing in the San Mateo Times on May 29 and June 4, 11 and 18, 1982. <br /> <br />Mrs. Hildebrand also produced the Affidavit of Mailing of Notice by Certified <br />Mail, Return Receipt Requested, to owners of property within the proposed <br />Redevelopment Agency Project No.2 and to its taxing agencies. <br /> <br />Mr. Fargo described the four proposed sub-areas of the Project labelled <br />Gateway, Centre, Marina and Seaport and read the list of public improvements <br />proposed to be undertaken as part of the Project, as follows: <br /> <br />1. James Avenue - Redwood Creek Project <br />2. Multi-Modal Transportation Terminal <br />3. Civic Center Rehabilitation (Parking <br />Expansion, Library-City Hall) <br />4. Seaport Boulevard Improvements <br />5. Extension of East Bayshore (Bridge) <br />6. Maple Street Drain <br />7.
