ORIGINAL <br /> 6/27/86. <br /> <br />This agreement, made and entered into this __~9_~-_x~ ...... day of <br />___a~t~P~ .... , 1986, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />a municipal corporation of the State of California, hereinafter <br />referred to as "City", and the Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County, <br />hereinafter referred to as "Contractor"; <br /> <br /> WI TNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS. Contractor is a non-profit corporation of the State of <br />California, which has been established for the principal purpose of <br />providing a free legal assistance to seniors and families of modest <br />income who live in San Mateo County; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City desires to participate in said program by <br />contributing financial assistance to aid Contractor in providing <br />the above mentioned services to residents of the City of Redwood <br />City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has represented to City that it is experienced <br />and qualified to perform such services; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and <br /> agreements herein set forth, the parties hereto do hereby agree <br /> as follows: <br /> <br /> I.
