DAS:mmg 05/18/89 (~40/017) <br /> DES:mmg 0~/05/89R <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> VETERANS BOULEVARD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT <br /> <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA, hereinafter referred <br />to as "City", and R.M. HARRIS COMPANY, hereinafter referred to as <br />"Contractor", for the consideration hereinafter stated, hereby <br />agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. The Contractor shall perform everything required to be <br />performed, shall provide and furnish all of the labor, equipment <br />and tools to perform, within One Hundred Twenty (120) working <br />days beginning Fifteen calendar days (15) after the NOTICE TO <br />PROCEED, the following work: <br /> <br /> VETERANS BOULEVARD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT <br /> <br /> 2. City shall pay to Contractor, as full consideration for <br />the faithful performance by Contractor of the aforementioned work <br />in the amount of One Million Fifty-two Thousand Nine Hundred <br />Sixty-three and NO/100 Dollars ($1,052,963.00) computed in <br />accordance with Contractor's accepted proposal dated May 16, <br />1989, which accepted proposal are incorporated herein by <br />reference thereto as if herein fully set forth. <br /> <br /> 3. All of the work to be done shall be done under the <br /> direction and supervision of, and to the approval of, the City or <br /> its authorized representative, and the work shall be done in the <br /> best workmanlike manner, conforming strictly to the provisions of <br /> the specifications and plans made therefor. <br /> <br /> 4.
