<br />... <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF <br />SKYWAY ROAD BETWEEN ITS SOUTHERLY TERMINUS AND THE <br />PROPOSED PROJECT LIMITS AT AIRPORT DRIVE APPROXIMATELY 640 FEET <br />NORTHERLY OF THE CITY LIMITS IN THE REDWOOD CITY AREA <br /> <br />This AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~ day of ~ \. ""-..] , <br />- I <br /> <br />1999, by and between the CITY OF SAN CARLOS, a municipal corporation of the <br /> <br />State of California, hereinafter referred to as "San Carlos", and the CITY OF <br /> <br />REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the State of California, hereinafter <br /> <br />referred to as "Redwood City". <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Redwood City and San Carlos are desirous to improve Skyway <br /> <br />Road, between its southerly terminus and the proposed project limits of Airport Drive <br /> <br />approximately 640 feet southerly of the City limit; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a portion of the proposed Skyway Road project lies within the <br /> <br />incorporated limits of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />A map showing the area to be <br /> <br />improved in accordance with this agreement is attached as Exhibit "A"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed improvement of Skyway Road shall include, but not <br /> <br />be limited to, the installation of surface drainage improvements, traffic striping, roadway <br /> <br />improvement work:, and street lighting systems; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Redwood City and San Carlos agree that San Carlos shall act as <br /> <br />lead agency in the preparation of plans, specifications, and related documents for the <br /> <br />improvement of Skyway Road, between its southerly terminus and the proposed project <br /> <br />limits of Airport Drive approximately 640 feet northerly of the City limit; such plans <br /> <br />Page 1 of 5 <br /> <br />'.'--""--'--".T '0' <br />
