<br />JAH:dft 10/96/93 (009/36) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />11/8/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />12097 <br /> <br />---------- -- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VACATING PORTION OF FRANKLIN STREET AND <br />RETAINING A PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT THEREIN, AND <br />VACATING A STORM WATER EASEMENT AND A SEWER AND WATER <br />EASEMENT WITHIN THE AREA IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />BOUNDED BY JAMES AVENUE, THE RAILROAD TRACKS, <br />JEFFERSON AVENUE AND EL CAMINO REAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Council of the City of Redwood City by its <br /> <br />Resolution No. 12081, declared its intention to vacate a portion <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Franklin <br /> <br />Street <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />reserve <br /> <br />therein a public <br /> <br />service <br /> <br />easement, and to vacate a storm water easement and a sewer and <br /> <br />water easement, as therein and as hereinafter described, pursuant <br /> <br />to Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways <br /> <br />Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, notice of the Council's intention to vacate and to <br /> <br />reserve, respectively, the aforesaid easements has been published <br />and posted in accordance with such authority; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held at which evidence <br /> <br />was taken and all interested persons were heard; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The location, purpose and extent of the vacation of the <br /> <br />portion of Franklin Street subject to this proceeding have been <br />submitted to and reported upon by the Planning Commission to be <br /> <br />in conformity with the adopted General Plan, and this Council has <br /> <br />considered the General Plan prior to and in relation to each of <br /> <br />the street and easement vacations effected by this resolution. <br /> <br />, -" --""."
