<br />ÐRI6tNAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />For <br /> <br />FACILITY RENOVATION <br /> <br />POPLAR RECARE <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~ day of r ' <br /> <br />2000, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the <br /> <br />State of California, (City) and POPLAR RECARE, a California nonprofit corporation <br /> <br />(Contractor); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor conducts a facility renovation/improvement project to 1764 <br /> <br />Marco Polo Way which provides services to individuals with disabilities who are residents <br /> <br />ofthe City (the Program); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the <br /> <br />Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999, and ending <br /> <br />June 30, 2000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br /> <br />the sum of Twenty One Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($21,000) trom its Community <br /> <br />Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Financial Assistance.
