<br />DES:djk 1"'15/16/91 <br /> <br />(013/28) <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />7/'»/91 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11554 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />AGREEMENT FOR ACCOUNTING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES <br /> <br />OF <br /> <br />(SOUTH BAYSIDE SYSTEM AUTHORITY) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and the <br /> <br />South Bayside <br /> <br />Syst.em Aut.hority <br /> <br />("SBSA"), a public ent.ity est.ablished pursuant. <br /> <br />to joint exercise of powers agreement, entered into an agreement <br /> <br />dated January 8, 1987 (the "Basic Agreementll), pursuant to which <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />has <br /> <br />performed <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />professional <br /> <br />account.ing <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />financial services for the SBSA; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant. to paragraph 4 of the Basic Agreement. the <br /> <br />parties <br /> <br />renewed <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />extended <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />t.erm <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />revised <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />compensation payable thereunder pursuant to amendments theret.o <br /> <br />dated June 16, 1987 <br /> <br />(lithe First Amendment"), June 22, 1988 (the <br /> <br />"Second Amendment"), June 21, 1989 <br /> <br />(the "Third Amendment"); and <br /> <br />June 18, 1990 (t.he "Fourth Amendment"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parties to the Basic Agreement desire to renew <br /> <br />and extend the term thereof and revise the compensation payable <br /> <br />thereunder for the period July 1, 1991 - June 30, 1992; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Fift.h Amendment to the Basic Agreement providing <br /> <br />for the foregoing has been present.ed to, <br /> <br />and reviewed by this <br /> <br />Council and this Council desires t.o approve and aut.horize the <br /> <br />execution thereof; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />11554 <br /> <br />..-. 1r <br />
