<br />J ¡;S: d £ t ¡:; /19/91 ( 0 70/29 ) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />6/24/91 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11534 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING CONDITIONAL TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF <br />WARREN STREET BETWEEN INTERSECTION THEREOF WITH <br />BRADFORD AND MARSHALL STREETS AND APPROVING AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT IN CONNECTION <br />THEREWITH <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />County <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />San <br /> <br />Mateo <br /> <br />proposes <br /> <br />t.o <br /> <br />commence <br /> <br />construction of public facilities located on the property bounded <br /> <br />by Bradford, Winslow, Warren, and Marshall Streets in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City (IICounty's projectll); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, County's Project requires the closure to vehicular <br /> <br />and pedestrian traffic of that portion of Warren Street located <br /> <br />between <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />intersection <br /> <br />thereof <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />Bradford <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Marshall <br /> <br />Streets ("Closure Areall); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />County <br /> <br />anticipates <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />construction <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />County's Project will commence in July, <br /> <br />1991, and continue for <br /> <br />approximately two years from that date; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said County has requested this Council to order the <br /> <br />temporary closure of the Closure Area for the durat.ion of the <br /> <br />construction of County's Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />this Council is willing t.o order said temporary <br /> <br />closure, <br /> <br />subject t.o the terms and conditions contained in the <br /> <br />agreement hereinafter referenced; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />This <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />finds <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />determines <br /> <br />t.hat <br /> <br />conditional <br /> <br />temporary closure <br /> <br />to vehicular <br /> <br />and pedestrian <br /> <br />traffic <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Closure Area is necessary in furtherance of t.he public health, <br />
