He <br />stated a need for a secretary for the Recreation Department. <br />This matter was tabled until the budget discussions come up. <br /> <br />COMMUNI CATIOtiS: <br /> <br />.. J- <br /> <br />A letter from the City Council regarding the building <br />of a ramp at the Yacht Harbor. MSC by Jack Poole that the <br />letter be referred back to the City Council inasmuch as the <br /> <br />". <br /> <br />capital outlay has been struck from the budget. Secretary <br />Gold was instructed to write this letter. <br /> <br />A letter from Mr. Ray F. Christensen offering the use <br />of an inter-communications system at the swimming pool without <br />obligation if the Recreation Department was willing to install <br />it at its won expense. MSC that a letter be sent to Mr. <br />Christensen stating that due to the shortage of funds in the <br />budget, we are unable to take on this additional expense at <br />this time, but that we appreciate his generous offer. Secretary <br />Gold was instrllcted to wri te this letter. <br /> <br />OLD BUSI.NESS: <br /> <br />tl """ <br /> <br /> <br />Recreation Director Alfred Morton reported that the <br />bleachers at the Swimming Pool were purchased and installed <br />by the Park Department. <br /> <br />Recreation Director Alfred Morton reported that the <br />responsibility for the Yacht Harbor continues to be in the <br />hands of the Recreation Department. <br /> <br />Mr. Olson, acting for Park Superintendant, r~ported <br />that in the spring the Park Department will need two additional <br />men and one truck. The matter was tabled until spring. <br />
