M.; absent, Commissioner James Hagan. ' <br /> <br />Minutes of the regular meeting of November 26, special <br />meetings of Dec~er 17,1940, and January 3, 1941, were read <br />and approved. <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS: None. <br />COMMITTEE'REPORTS: <br /> <br /> <br />, . <br /> <br />Report was made by Donald Bogie, chairman of the com- <br />mittee on the 1100,000 bond issue, that his committee recom- <br />mended that the bond issue be allocated as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />. Butcher Field <br />Chestnut Addition <br />Oak Knoll Hanqr and Equipment <br />Baseball Field and Grading <br />Equipment at Butcher Field <br />Lighting high school tennis courts <br />Yacht Harbor <br />Landscaping and equipment of existing <br />areas <br />Unbudgeted <br /> <br />855,000 <br />6,000 <br />5,000 <br />12,500 <br />5 ., 000 <br />800 <br />.7,500 <br />3,200 <br />5,000 <br /> <br />Mr. Bogie also reported that it was not possible to <br />proceed with recreational area spot planning until it is <br />,known whether Butcher Field is to be purchased; also that <br />the lighting of the tennis courts at Kezes and those at . <br />Sequoia were planned but were contingent upon the passage <br />of the bond issue. MSC that Mr. Bogie's report be accepted. <br />The committee was not dismissed. <br /> <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Mac that it be recommended to the City Manager that <br />the rental of'\the Yacht Harbor Club House be fixed at <br />$2.50 per meeting, in response to the Se~oia JacM Cl~'s <br />request that a figure be set, the rental to be retroactive. <br />The secretary was instructed to ,notify the secretary of the <br />Sequoia Yacht Club of, the Commission' s acti'on. <br /> <br />In connection with the discussion of rentals ot the <br />Yacht Harbor Club House, it was pointed out "that it was <br />believed the Sportsmen's Club was not paying a rental for <br />the use of the club house two evenings a month." The <br />secretary was asked to verify this report, and it was MSC <br />that. in case rental is not being paid by the Sportsmen's <br /> <br /> <br />
