M. Present: Irving G:old, <br />Louj-se Tornell, William Hanley, Catharine Brenrian, Alyn Beals, Park Supt. <br />Pasco B81zarini, Recreation Director Alfred Morton, Recreation Supervisor <br />Kay Sandas, Councilman Carl Britschßi and Mayor S. D. Herkner. <br /> <br />Absen t :,Gerrv Vers sen and ~:lauri ce Shut z. <br />fl <br /> <br />~rinutes of the June 2nd ~eeting apDroved as mailed. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Ross, Ross ~nd M"cGovern relative to the A.C. Layton <br />Agreement on the miniature train. A request was made for a longer lease <br />on the property due to contemplated improvements which would include a <br />electrical system, benches and fixing the area adjacent the train loca- <br />tion. ~tSC by Commissioners Hanley 8,nd Brennan tha.t a letter be sent to <br />, !~-r. rj~ cGovern s ta ting that the Commission feels that an agreement not to <br />exceed one year should be granted. <br /> <br />Letter from the Peninsula Celebration Assoc~ation to the Park and Recrea- <br />tion Commission stating that they would graot the Recreation Department' <br />$500.00 this ~ar for facility develo~nt providing a profit was made. <br /> <br />A report was ma~le by Park Superintendent Pasco Balzarini that the hazard <br />ate 0 rnrn un i t Y Par k i s b e i n g cor r e c t e d b y the San rì r an cis c 0 ~~Y ate r De pt. <br />Balzarini is to report back at the next meeting on this subject. <br /> <br />City Mayor S. D. He~er arrived at the ~eting at 8:25 P.M. <br /> <br />Commissioner William Hnnley presented a map from the Sterling Homes show- <br />ing where fences were built on the right of way and he does not know what <br />the status is at the present time. He feels that no rights for landscap- <br />ing should be given to any of the residents of the area along the right <br />of \vav. <br /> <br />. .~ <br /> <br />Park Supt.
