Noted absent was commissioner <br />Ray Lunny. Also present were staff members Red Morton, recreation <br />director and Pasco -Balzarini I park superi ntendent. <br /> <br />M, S. C, that the minutes of March 2 be approved~as mailed. <br /> <br />... <br /> <br /> <br />Dick Wilkinson, Planning director WaS present to help clear the <br />thinking of the commission on 1Nhat the city has planned or hopes to <br />plan as far as parks and recreational facilities are concerned, <br /> <br />, <br /> <br /> <br />C, Trifeletti, 3611 Brandy Rock Way, Hugh Roßaroen, 3757 Farm Hill <br />Blvd. were present to protest the parking lot at Stulsaft Park, <br />Dick Wilkinson explained to the commission what was being planned <br />for Stulsaft Park. A lengthy discussion followed on Stulsaft Park <br />little le~ue field and parki~ lot. <br /> <br />M. S. C. - Commissioners Beals and Tornell that a letter be written <br />to City Mane.ger recommending that plans for the Little League diamond <br />at Stulsaft Park be abandoned and be deyeloped as a multi purpose <br />area on the site of mercury mine in Stulsaft Park. Chairman Knecht's <br />thtnking on this development was negative. <br /> <br />'" <br /> <br />M, S. C. Commissioners Beals~ and Schutz that a letter be written <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />to the City Manager and City Council asking to have~ the master' plan <br />of Stulsaft Park checked as far as the parking situation and possibly <br />revising the parking a rea designated. Also, presønt at this time was <br />Don Delaney, 37~ Fam Hill Blvd. wo spoke on the pa~ing situ~tion <br />as it is now at Stulsaft Park. . <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />Correspondence received was read. Two letters from City Manager <br />~swerin~ co~issions letters on Union Cemetery ~d Easter Cross. <br /> <br />Chairman Knecht appointed the commissionßrs to different projects <br />60 work on during the coming year. Yacht Harbor, Harder - <br />Stulsaft Park and Beautification areas.
