<br />103 <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />REDWOOD CITY PARK & RECREATION COMMISSION <br />OCTOBER 5, 1966 . 7:3ß p.m. <br /> <br />~e regular monthly meeting was called to order by Chairman A1yn <br />Beals at 7:~0 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />ON ROLL CALL, the following Commiasi~ners were noted present: <br />Chairman Baals, Ann Gooding, James Knecht, Jasper <br />Sipes, Jack Stuart, Secretary Doris Thompson and Bob <br />Whitmore. Absent: NONE. <br />Also present: Director of Recreation, Alfred Morton: <br />John Yoshida, Park Foreman: Bill Paulson, Recreation <br />Supervisor, and Lee Massman, stenographer. Absent <br />and excused - Supt. of Parks, Pasco Balzarini. <br /> <br />MINUTES of meeting of September 7th were approved as mailed. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> <br />I - Copy of report to Mayor and Council by City <br />Manager Ullrich under date of 9-23-66, re forward- <br />ing of agreement re base bid for Hoover Pool, not <br />including alternates, to low bidder U. S. Con- <br />struction Company; <br /> <br />2 - Let t.er from Ci ty Clerk Helen Moore, da ted <br />9-29-66, re Commission correspondence re urinal <br />Report from Sterling Winans" and IIFutuee Bark <br />Land, vicinity Canyon Road, etc." as having been <br />referred to City Manager for action at 9-26-66 <br />Council meeting: <br /> <br />3 - Copy of lette~ dated 9-28-66 from City Mana- <br />ger to City Attorney re procedural steps necess- <br />ary to get Winan's Report to Council and Plann- <br />ing Commission. Secretary Thompson was asked to <br />thank Mr. Ullrich for his prompt consideration <br />in this matter and to ask that all Commissioners <br />be kept up to date on the matter and notified of <br />all meetings pertaini,~gi (10-28-66) <br /> <br /> <br />4 - Letter from City Manager re Winans Report, <br />dated 9-29-66 indicating thatChairman Beals would <br />be kept advised of dates of various hearings be- <br />fore Planning Commission and Council so that he <br />and Commissioners may attend if desired; <br /> <br />5 - Veterans Building brochure and rate schedule <br />as reference material and possible guide for set- <br />ing up rules, regulations and rates for new multi- <br />purpose building. Ann Gooding, as chairman, and <br />Doris Thompson were asked to act as committee to <br />work on rules, regulations and rates for the new <br />building and report back at ~e~er meeting. <br /> <br />
