<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING ENGINEERING AND DESIGN SERVICES <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ,I; ß-day of <br />~ 2000, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City"), and MANNA <br /> <br />CONSULTANTS, INC. of Oakland, California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires the construction of the Blomquist Street <br /> <br />Extension in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br /> <br />consulting engineering and design services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and <br /> <br />is qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall prepare construction <br /> <br />documents and perform consulting engineering and design services described in <br /> <br />Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />2. COMPENSATION: EXPENSES: PAYMENT.
