Because of the objections he has received,
Mr. Aguilar recommended that we contact the interested dog owners in the
community and request them to search for a new dog exercise site that may be
considered. He also suggested discussing raising money to finance the
establishment of a dog exercise area with this group since there is no money
budgeted for the establishment or maintenance of this type of facility.

Chairperson Swope said she felt this is not a "dead" issue and that the
response letters from Mr. Aguilar to the property owners acknowledged their
objections to the proposed dog exercise area but did not address their
objections.
