DES : d 5/13/92 (048/30) <br /> • ORIGINAL 5/11/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 11751 <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO LEVY AND COLLECT ASSESSMENTS <br /> FOR FISCAL YEAR 1992 - ' 93 FOR DOWNTOWN BUSINESS <br /> IMPROVEMENT AREA NO. 2 ; DESCRIBING IMPROVEMENTS AND <br /> ACTIVITIES PROPOSED TO BE MADE AND CARRIED OUT IN SAID <br /> AREA; APPROVING AND ACCEPTING REPORT OF ADVISORY BOARD <br /> PERTAINING TO SAID AREA; AND SETTING PUBLIC HEARING ON <br /> LEVY OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to Ordinance No. 2036 , adopted March 25 , <br /> 1991 , this Council established Downtown Business Improvement Area <br /> No. 2 , including benefit zones therein (the "Area") , in <br /> accordance with Streets and Highways Code Section 36500 et seq. ; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to Resolution No. 11514 , adopted April 22 , <br /> 1991 , this Council designated the Redwood City Downtown <br /> Association (the "Association") as the advisory board for the <br /> area; and <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to Streets and Highways Code Section <br /> 36533 , the Association has submitted the annual report for fiscal <br /> year July 1 , 1992 - June 30 , 1993 (the "Report") for which <br /> assessments are to be levied and collected to pay the costs of <br /> improvements and activities described in the Report; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS <br /> FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . For purposes of this resolution, reference is hereby <br /> made to Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference <br /> incorporated herein for a description of the location of the <br /> Area. <br />
