n .El-Ik_ n1 /00 /07 rn, , i-, , <br /> DES:djk 01/29/92 (011/32) <br /> ORIGINAL 2/11/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11695 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF <br /> CERTAIN COMPUTER EQUIPMENT <br /> WHEREAS, the Police Department requires certain computer <br /> equipment (collectively, the "Equipment") more specifically <br /> described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this <br /> reference incorporated herein; and <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement have been <br /> solicited for purchase of the Equipment pursuant to Redwood City <br /> Code Section 2 .65; and <br /> WHEREAS, in response to said solicitation, the Police <br /> Department has determined that the most economical method of <br /> purchasing the Equipment is through the Sequoia High School <br /> District Cooperative purchasing program, pursuant to which said <br /> District makes purchases under competitive bidding requirements <br /> substantially equivalent to those of the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, Redwood City Code Section 2. 80 establishes a <br /> procedure for purchasing materials, equipment or supplies through <br /> bidding procedures implemented by other public agencies; and <br /> WHEREAS, funds are available for purchase of the Equipment <br /> in the Asset Forfeiture Fund established and administered <br /> pursuant to the provisions of Health and Safety Code Sections <br /> 11470-11489 ; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br />
