AL <br />ii\.ull\ <br /> <br />AUG 2 7 1990 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11380 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />(DWELLING STRUCTURE, 1052 HIGH STREET, PALO ALTO, CA) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lewis and Belinda Rosen ("OWners") own all that <br /> <br />certain real property, including improvements thereon, located at <br /> <br />1052 High Street, Palo Alto, County of Santa Clara, State of <br /> <br />California, ("Owners' premises"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, OWners' Premises are improved with a wood frame, <br /> <br />single <br /> <br />story, <br /> <br />2-bedroom, <br /> <br />one bathroom dwelling <br /> <br />structure <br /> <br />occupying approximately 1,200 square feet, (the "House"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this City requires a dwelling located within the <br /> <br />City's corporate limits for municipal purposes and furtherance of <br /> <br />the public health, welfare and safety; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City owns a parcel of <br /> <br />unimproved real property located in the vacinity of the <br /> <br />southwesterly terminus of Cedar Street at its intersection with <br /> <br />Hilton <br /> <br />Street <br /> <br />(designated <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />Accessors <br /> <br />Parcel <br /> <br />Number <br /> <br />053-245-340), in the City of Redwood City ("City's Premises); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to use the City's Premises as <br /> <br />a site for municipal purposes, including, but not necessarily <br /> <br />limited to a provision of housing for disadvantaged children, <br /> <br />youth, and families; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Owners desire to convey title to the house to the <br /> <br />Ci ty of Redwood City for use in furtherance of the aforesaid <br /> <br />purposes, provided that the City take possession of the house at <br />
