R E S 0 L U T I 0 N N 0. 4283 <br />RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION <br />ORCHARD AVENUE-BURNHAM OAKS <br />IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT <br />RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, that <br />it does hereby preliminarily determine that the public conveni- <br />ence and necessity require, and that it intends to order in ac- <br />cordance with the provisions of the Municipal Improvement Act of <br />1913, as amended, the following acquisitions to be had, work to <br />be done and improvements to be made in and for said City, to wit: <br />1. The improvement of Orchard Avenue from Woodside Road to the <br />corporate limits of the City of Redwood City, and the improve- <br />ment of Wells Street, Wheeler Avenue, Robart Street, and Riley <br />Way, to be dedicated, by the construction and installation <br />therein of 2" asphalt concrete surfacing, 301 in width, on a <br />5" crusher run rock base, standard concrete curb, gutter, side- <br />walk, valley gutter and driveway approaches on each side there- <br />of, and the installation of street trees on both sides of Wells <br />Street, Wheeler Avenue and Robart Street. <br />2. The construction and installation of a storm sewer system, in- <br />cluding reinforced concrete storm sewer pipe, manholes, catch <br />basins and ditch inlet boxes. <br />3. The construction and installation of a sanitary sewer system, <br />including vitrified clay pipe, manholes, cleanouts and laterals. <br />4. The installation of a water system, including cast iron pipe, <br />valves, hydrants, blowoffs and services. <br />5. The construction and installation of an electrolier and fire <br />alarm system, including poles, standards, luminaires, under- <br />ground conduit and conductors. <br />6. The construction and installation of monuments and barricades. <br />7. The acquisition of all easements, rights-of-way, and other <br />property reasonably necessary to complete all the improvements <br />described above. <br />8. The construction and installation of all work and furnishing <br />of all materials necessary therefor auxiliary to or which may <br />be reasonably required to complete any of the work provided <br />to be done or acquisitions to be had in Paragraphs 1 through <br />7 above. <br />-1- <br />
