<br />FXS : (1' h. 11 /20/96 <br /> <br />(009/72) <br /> <br />ORIG'~A' <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />A G R E E MEN T <br /> <br />--------- <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT <br />AND GENERAL CONTRACTOR SERVICES <br />FIRE STATION AND MAINTENANCE FACILITY <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, mad~d entered into this ;:¿gtr\ day of <br /> <br />U 1~ <br />~' 199/5, y and between the CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />a munlcipal corporation of the State of California, <br /> <br />CITY, <br /> <br />("City"), and RUDOLPH & SLETTEN, INC. of Foster City, California, <br /> <br />the CONSTRUCTION MANAGER/GENERAL CONTRACTOR ("CM/GC"); <br /> <br />WIT N E SSE T H : <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />City proposes to construct a fire station <br /> <br />("Fire <br /> <br />Station") and a maintenance facility ("Maintenance Facility") in <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires <br /> <br />professional <br /> <br />construction <br /> <br />management <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />general <br /> <br />contractor <br /> <br />services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, CM/GC represents that it possesses the experience, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />qualified, <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />perform <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />aforesaid <br /> <br />services <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />CM/GCIS <br /> <br />SERVICES. <br /> <br />CM/GC <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />perform <br /> <br />construction <br /> <br />management, general contractor, and related services described in <br /> <br />Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated <br /> <br />herein. <br /> <br />Construction <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Project <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />be <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />strict <br /> <br />compliance <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />plans, <br /> <br />contract <br /> <br />documents, <br /> <br />general <br /> <br />conditions, <br /> <br />conditions, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />specifications <br /> <br />pertaining <br /> <br />thereto, <br />
