12/6/99 <br /> · _ ORIGINAL _ <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13802 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 13752 <br /> ACCEPTING BID FOR DREDGING AND CLEANING OF BOX <br /> CULVERTS AND SUMPS AT CORDILLERAS CREEK AT <br /> INDUSTRIAL WAY; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF BID <br /> SECURITY DEPOSIT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13734, adopted September 11, <br />1999, the City Clerk readvertised for bids for the dredging and cleaning of box <br />culverts and sumps at Cordilleras Creek at Industrial Way in the City of Redwood <br />City, California (the "City"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in response to said readvertisement one bid was received; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13752, adopted October 11, <br />1999, this Council awarded a contract (the "Contract") to Casey Construction of <br />Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, due to circumstances beyond the control of the City, which <br />have arisen subsequent to the award of the Contract, proceeding with the <br />Contract would violate regulations of the California Department of Fish and <br />Game; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as a result of said potential violation, this Council desires to <br />rescind Resolution No. 13752; <br /> <br /> Reso-791 1 <br /> FXS:djk <br /> F:$ bared/Redwood/Council <br /> i 1/22/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
