11/8/99 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13784 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE <br /> PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL <br /> EQUIPMENT UNDER THE COOPERATIVE PURCHASE <br /> PROVISIONS OF THE CITY OF FREMONT'S PURCHASE <br /> ORDER NO. 21796 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.80 of the Redwood City Code, the City <br />of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by Section 54201 of <br />the California Government Code to purchase materials, equipment, or supplies <br />on behalf of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Fremont's Purchase Order No. 21796 includes a <br />Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other public agencies the <br />opportunity to purchase equipment from Northeast Energy Services, Inc. <br />("NORESCO), of South San Francisco, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of the City of Fremont conforms to the <br />requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2.80; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to purchase traffic <br />signal equipment consisting of 820 LED red signal lamps from NORESCO <br />pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase Provision of the City of Fremont's <br />Purchase Order No 21796; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />.e~o-773 1 <br />FXS:djk <br />F:/Shared/Redwood/Council <br />10/28/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
