9/13/99 <br /> - ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13739 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE CONCRETE <br /> SIDEWALK REPAIR SERVICES PROJECT; AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br /> DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13684, adopted July 26, 1999, <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Concrete Sidewalk Repair Services <br />Project, Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, two bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Bay Area Paving Company is the lowest responsible bidder, <br />and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to Bay Area <br />Paving Company; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Bay Area Paving Company, in the amount of Seventy-five <br /> Thousand Dollars ($75,000), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal <br /> dated August 24, 1999, for the Concrete Sidewalk Repair Services Project, is <br /> hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
