9/13/99 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13734 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR THE DREDGING <br /> AND CLEANING OF BOX CULVERTS AND SUMPS AT <br /> CORDILLERAS CREEK AT INDUSTIRAL WAY, DIRECTING <br /> RETURN OF BID SECURITY; APPROVING REVISED <br /> CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR SAID PROJECT; AND <br /> AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING READVERTISEMENT FOR <br /> BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13680, adopted July 26, 1999, <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the dredging and cleaning of box culverts <br />and sumps at Cordilleras Creek at industrial Way in the City of Redwood City, <br />California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS,, in response to said advertisement two bids were received; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has determined that said bids (including the <br />apparent lowest responsible bid) were non-responsive, and that the bid <br />documents require clarification; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as a result thereof, this Council desires to exercise its <br /> reserved right to reject all bids, to approve the revised contract documents and <br /> to authorize and direct the City Clerk to readvertise for bids for the work therein <br /> describedi <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Reso-732 <br /> DES:djk <br /> F:Shared/Redwood/Council <br /> 08/19/99 <br /> 09/07/Cj9R <br /> <br /> <br />
