6/28/99 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13662 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CALLING ELECTION AND REQUESTING BOARD OF <br /> SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, TO CONSOLIDATE THE <br /> GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> WITH SCHOOL DISTRICT ELECTIONS TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 2, <br /> 1999 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 4, of the Charter of the <br />City of Redwood City and Ordinance No. 2078, adopted April 11, 1994, General <br />Municipal Elections of the City of Redwood City shall be held in said City on the <br />same day as School District Elections, to wit: the first Tuesday after the first <br />Monday in November of each odd-numbered year, commencing with said election in <br />November 1995; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Elections Code Section 10400, <br />elections called to be held on the same day and wholly or partly within the same <br />territory, may be consolidated upon the order of the governing body or bodies <br />calling the elections; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to consolidate the aforesaid General <br />Municipal Election with the School District Elections to be held on the same date; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Sections 10402 and 10403 <br />of the Elections Code, consolidation of elections may be ordered by the Board of <br /> <br />Supervisors of the County within which such elections are to be held; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br /> <br />
