6/7/99 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13647 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION INITIATING PROCEEDINGS TO AMEND <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1130, AS AMENDED, THE REDWOOD CITY <br /> ZONING ORDINANCE, BY ADDING SECTIONS 27.4 AND 27.5 <br /> THERETO, RELATING TO AMORTIZATION OF <br /> NONCONFORMING ADULT ORIENTED BUSINESS USES AND <br /> EXTENSION OF TIME FOR TERMINATION OF SUCH <br /> NONCONFORMING USES, RESPECTIVELY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 11, 1998 this Council adopted Ordinance No. <br />1130.298 entitled, "Ordinance Adding Article 27 to Ordinance No. 1130, the <br />Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, Relating to Sexually Oriented Businesses"; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1 of said Ordinance set forth findings supporting the <br />regulations established pursuant thereto; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said findings are hereby incorporated herein by reference; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1130.298 as published inadvertently did not <br />include Sections 27.4 and 27.5 of Article 27, which relate to the amortization of <br />nonconforming adult oriented business uses and the extension of time for <br />termination of such nonconforming uses, respectively; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it was the intent of this Council to include said Sections, and <br />the businesses affected thereby had actual notice of said intent; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in order to correct the omission in publication, this Council <br />desires to amend Article 27 of the Zoning Ordinance by adding Sections 27.4 <br /> <br />Resc-682 <br />G:~s h a r ed~redwood\cou n cji <br />DES:djk <br />06/02/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
