<br /> ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> San Mateo County Board Of Education <br /> Regional Occupational Program <br /> (ROP) <br /> INTERNSHIP AND JOB TRAINING PROGRAM <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 6'rA day of <br /> 4-~~/7"VU::~' ./ , 2006, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> municipal corporation of the State of California, (City), and SAN MATEO <br /> COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION - REGIONAL OCCUPATIONAL PROGRAM <br /> (ROP), a California public entity (Contractor); <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has an approved course(s) in business office, <br /> medical administrative assisting, and technical careers, and desires to have its <br /> students receive clinical and/or field training experience in said course as <br /> provided in the Educational Code; and <br /> WHEREAS, CITY OF REDWOOD CITY'S Consolidated Plan 2005-2010 <br /> establishes a priority for job training and economic development activities which <br /> lead to enhanced employment opportunities for low income residents, and <br /> WHEREAS, Community Development Block Grant funds may be used to <br /> accomplish these goals, and <br /> WHEREAS CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, as a service to the community <br /> and in consideration of the mutual benefits to be derived there from, is willing to <br /> ATTY/AGR/2006.054 <br /> 081606 1 <br />
