4/12/99 <br /> - ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13601 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SAN MATEO COUNTY <br /> INTEGRATED WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN COUNTYWIDE <br /> SITING ELEMENT AND THE SAN MATEO COUNTY <br /> INTEGRATED WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN SUMMARY PLAN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the California Integrated Waste Management Act of 1989 (the <br />"Act"; Pub. Res. Code §40000 et seq.)), as amended, requires that each county <br />shall prepare and approve a countywide siting element and a countywide <br />summary plan as elements of each county's Countywide Integrated Waste <br />Management Plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a Final Draft Countywide Siting Element and a Final Draft <br />Countywide Summary Plan (the "Plans") have been prepared and reviewed in <br />conformance with state regulations; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said Plans, as required, have been reviewed by the <br />City/County Association of Governments as the Local Task Force for San Mateo <br />County and found to be acceptable; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said Plans will become the Countywide Siting Element and <br />the Countywide Summary Plan for San Mateo County upon approval by the San <br />Mateo County Board of Supervisors and by a majority of the cities in San Mateo <br />County representing a majority of the incorporated population of the county; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act, a <br /> Negative Declaration was certified for said Plans by the San Mateo County <br /> <br /> Reso-634 <br /> G:\Shared~Redwood\Cou ncil <br /> DES:djk <br /> 04/06/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
