<br />PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> <br />MINUTES OF WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27,2006 <br /> <br />COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Chairperson Slusser, Commissioners Joseph, <br />Sargent, Swope, Truscelli, White, Wright <br /> <br />COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: None <br /> <br />GUESTS: Elizabeth Travers, Lindley Garner, Randy Cipriani, Michael Jones and <br />guest (Boys and Girls Club) <br /> <br />STAFF PRESENT: Director Corinne Centeno; Superintendents Chris Beth and <br />Gary Hover; Recreation Manager, Adilah Haqq; Recreation Supervisor, Mark <br />Yasuda; Police Officers Jamie Mateo and Jessie Betts <br /> <br />Chairperson Bob Slusser called the regular meeting of the Park and Recreation <br />Commission to order at 7:30pm in Room 1 of the Community Activities Building, <br />1400 Roosevelt Ave., Redwood City, California. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />The minutes of the August meeting were approved as mailed. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Director Centeno announced that Administrative Assistant, Denise Monroe, is on <br />assignment with the City of Brisbane through a management exchange program <br />until mid-December. <br /> <br />ITEM 1 - PUBLIC INPUT ON PROPOSED PARK RULES AND REGULATIONS <br /> <br />Superintendent Hover reviewed his memorandum and asked the Commission to <br />determine if there is consensus on the proposed changes, identify any new <br />items, and direct staff on next steps.
