O. ~v' AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING THE ANNEY.ATION TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY OF CERTAIN Ul\I- INHABITED 'rERRITORY DESIGNATED "A'rHERWOOD ANNEXATION NO. 2 II AND HEREIN DESCRIBED, AND HEREIN ANNEXING SAID TERRITORY TO SAID CITY OF REDWOOD CITY THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, on the 13th day of December, 1971, the Council of the City of Redwood City adopted Resolution No. 6642 giving notice of, and declaring its intention to, initiate upon petition signed by the owners of not less than one fourth of the land in the territory proposed to be annexed by area and by assessed value as shown on the last equalized assessment roll of the County of San Mateo, proceedings to annex to the City of Redwood City all of the territory designated as "Atherwood Annexation No.2," and WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence showing, and finds, that the proposal to annex said territory, with description, was filed with the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of San Mateo, California, and that said commission has prepared or caused to be prepared a report on said annexation, and that said commission has approved the annexation and its boundaries as required by law: and WHEREAS, this Council has further received evidence showing, and has found, and again finds: (1) That said territory is situate immediately adjacent to and touches and is contiguous to the boundaries of the City of Redwood City: and (2) That on December 13, 1971, this Council did adopt its Resolution No. 6642, entitled "Resolution of the Council of the City of Redwood City Giving Notice of, and Declaring its Intention to, Initiate, Pursuant to Petition, Proceedings to Annex to said City Certain Uninhabited Territory: Describing said Territory and
