<br />DES. ek 12/6/68 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE <br /> <br />N o. 1.3 Rio <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />APPROVING THE ANNEX.l\TION TO THE CITY OF <br />REm'lOOD CITY OF CERTAIN UNINHAB I'I'ED <br />TERRITORY DESIGNATED" <br />"Rnr,Ri:mon ROlin ANNEXATION NO.1" <br />AND HEREIN DESCRIBED, AND HEREIN ANNEXING <br />SAID TERRITORY TO SAID CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY <br /> <br />JNi 20 "69 <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REm'lOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on the <br /> <br />2nd <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />December <br /> <br />, 19~ 68, <br /> <br />the Council of the City of Redwood City adopted Resolution <br /> <br />No. <br /> <br />5846 <br /> <br />giving notice of, and declaring its intention to, <br /> <br />initiate upon its own motign proceedings to annex to the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City all of the terr~tory designated as <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />EDGEWQOD ROAD ANNEXATIQN NQ. 1 <br /> <br />.., and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence showing, and <br /> <br />finds, that the proposal to annex said territory, with descrip- <br /> <br />tion, was filed with the Local Agency Fonmation Commission of <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />the County of San Mateo, California, and that said commission <br /> <br />has prepared or caused to be prepared a report on said annexa- <br /> <br />tion, and that said commission has approved the annexation <br /> <br />and its boundaries as required by law; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has further received evidence showing, <br /> <br />and has found, and again finds: <br /> <br />(I) That said territory is situate immediately adjacent to <br /> <br />and touches and is' contiguous to the boundaries of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />(2) That on <br /> <br />December 2 <br /> <br />, 19~, this Council did <br /> <br />adopt its Resolution No. 5846 <br /> <br />, entitled "Resolution of the <br /> <br />r <br />
