L./ J. / /0/- I <br /> <br />ORD1.NANCE <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1J.97 <br /> <br />. . ,j <br />~ <br /> <br />\ <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 21, 26, 29 AND 46 OF <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1286, THE SALARY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY; AND, PROVIDING FOR THE OPERATIVE DATES <br />OF SAID AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. sections 21, 26, 29 and 46 of Ordinance No. 1286, <br /> <br />entitled "An Ordinance Establishing Salaries for Employees of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City; and, Repealing Sections 1 through 46 <br /> <br />of Ordinance No. 1232,11 adopted January 9, 1967, are amended <br /> <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br />"SECTION 21. Employees appointed to posit ions in <br />the following classifications shall receive a monthly <br />salary within salary range 42 as established by Section 1: <br /> <br />Assistant Building Inspector <br />Chief Mechanic <br />Construction Inspector <br />Fire Inspector <br />Fire Mechanic <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />"SECTION 26. Employees appointed to positions in <br />the following classifications shall receive a monthly <br />salary within salary range 47 as established by section 1: <br /> <br />Administrative Assistant <br />Associate Planner <br />Fire Marshal <br />Fire Training Officer <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />"SECTION 29. Employees appointed to positions in <br />the following classifications shall receive a monthly <br />salary within salary range 51 as established by Sectio~ 1: <br /> <br />Battalion Chief <br />Civil Engineering Associate <br />Deputy Building Official <br />Deputy City Attorney <br />police Captain <br />street Maintenance Superintendent <br />Traffic Engineer <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />"SECTION 46. Employees appointed to positions in <br />the following classifications shall receive hourly compen- <br />sation within the hourly pay ranges established by this <br />section: <br /> <br />a. Construction Inspector <br />(temporary) <br />b. School Crossing Guard <br />c. Lifeguard <br />d. Recreation Aide I <br />e. Recreation Aide II <br />f. Recreation Aide III <br />g. Library Page <br />h.
