<br />em.I: djm <br /> <br />/28/90 RD-7/27) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />APR - 9 '1990 <br />ll.2..6. 5 c r: <br />R D - 90- 0 4 <br /> <br />.. }:.'" <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />CONCURRENT RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />ADOPTING FINDINGS FOR EACH SIGNIFICANT EFFECT ON THE <br />ENVIRONMENT EXPECTED TO BE CAUSED BY APPROVAL AND <br />IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SEQUOIA STATION PROJECT, <br />SELECTING ALTERNATIVE PROJECT, MAKING STATEMENT OF <br />OVERRIDING CONSIDERATIONS, AND P.DOPTING REPORTING AND <br />MONITORING PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City, the Redevelopment Agency <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City (the "Agency"), SamTrans, Caltrans <br /> <br />and a private developer have been engaged for some time in the <br /> <br />preparation of plans and related documents for the construction <br /> <br />of The Sequoia Station Project, which was formerly known as the <br /> <br />Gateway Center Mixed Use Development and Transit Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report ("EIR") has been <br /> <br />prepared for the Sequoia Station Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council and the Agency by concurrent <br /> <br />resolution have certified that the Final ErR for the Sequoia <br /> <br />Station Project was completed in compliance with CEQA, the State <br /> <br />CEQA Guidelines, and the Agency's CEQA Procedures, and that the <br /> <br />Ci ty Counci 1 and the Agency have reviewed and considered the <br /> <br />information contained in the Final EIR for the Sequoia Station <br /> <br />Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Final EIR for the Sequoia Station Project <br /> <br />identifies several potential significant environmental effects of <br /> <br />the Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 15091 of the California Administrative Code <br /> <br />Title 14, Division 6 ("CEQA Regulation, Section 15091") requires <br /> <br />that written findings be made, accompanied by a brief explanation <br />
