DES:djk 02/02/99 (120/32) <br /> <br /> 2/22/99 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 13562 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION VACATING PORTIONS OF MANZANITA AND HELLER <br /> STREETS IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, PURSUANT TO PART 3 <br /> OF DIVISION 9 OF THE CALIFORNIA STREETS AND HIGHWAYS <br /> CODE; AND RESERVING A PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT THEREFROM <br /> SUBJECT TO SATISFACTION OF CONDITIONS STATED HEREIN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 (commencing at <br />Section 8300) of Division 9 of the California Streets and <br />Highways Code, the Council of the City of Redwood City by its <br />Resolution No. , adopted , 1999, declared its <br />intention to vacate the hereinafter described portions of <br />Manzanita and Heller Streets, public streets in the City of <br />Redwood City and reserve therefrom a public service easement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 8322 and 8323 of the Streets <br />and Highways Code, notice of intention to vacate the described <br />portions of said streets and to reserve a public service easement <br />was published and posted; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said public hearing has been held and evidence <br />taken; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Council hereby finds that the hereinafter <br />described portions of Manzanita and Heller Streets, public <br />streets in the City of Redwood City, are no longer needed for <br />present or prospective public use, and hereby orders said <br />portions vacated subject to the conditions listed on Attachment <br />"I", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> <br />
