II 11 J ~ Ii !_J,; J_ <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION OF WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT 1989- <br />1990 AND LAKEVIEW PRESSURE ZONE PROJECT, DETERMINING <br />LOWEST RESPONSIBLE BIDDER, REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS, <br />AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br />SAID CONSTRUCTION, AND DIRECTING RETURN OF BID SECURITY <br />UPON EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11227 adopted February <br /> <br />12, 1990, a reque s t for bids for the Water Main Replacement <br /> <br />Project 1989-1990 and Lakeview Pressure Zone Project was <br /> <br />advertised; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement six bids were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Lakeview Pressure Zone project segment of said <br /> <br />work shall be funded under a reimbursement agreement entered into <br /> <br />pursuant to the provisions of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />Reimbursement Agreement Ordinance (Article XIII, Chapter 18, of <br /> <br />the Code of the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />Reimbursement <br /> <br />Agreement Ordinance"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of West Valley Construction Company, Inc., <br /> <br />of Campbell, California, is the lowest responsible bid received <br /> <br />pursuant to said advertisement and this Council desires to award <br /> <br />the contract for said work to said bidder; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of West Valley Construction Company, Inc., of <br /> <br />Campbell, California, dated March 6, 1990, for the construction <br />
