2/22/99 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13557 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION SUMMARILY VACATING PUBLIC SERVICE <br /> EASEMENTS; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO ACCEPT <br /> GRANTS OF EASEMENT IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR; AND TO <br /> FILE SAID GRANTS OF EASEMENT FOR RECORDATION <br /> <br /> (LIDO NEIGHBORHOOD UNIT NOS. 1 & 2) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 4 (commencing with <br />§8330), Part 3, Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of <br />California, this Council may summarily vacate public service easements, if such <br />easements have been superseded by relocation and that there are no other <br />public facilities located within said easements; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the public service easements as shown on Exhibits "A" and <br />"B" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, are no <br />longer required for public uses provided that said easements are relocated; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Owners of record of the properties affected thereby, <br />propose to convey to the City of Redwood City grants of easement in exchange <br />for the easements to be vacated; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the value of the property interest to be received by the City <br />pursuant to said exchange equals or exceeds the value of the property interest to <br />be vacated; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFOR; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Reso-581 1 <br />FXS:djk <br />RShared/R edwood/Council <br />02/03/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
