<br />CES:djm 09/13/89 (071/#25) <br /> <br />SEP 1 8 1989 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~o.11149 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE <br />SAND, AGGREGATE, PEA GRAVEL AND FINES <br />FISCAL YEAR; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />THEREFOR; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br />PERTAINING THERETO <br /> <br />FURNISHING OF <br />FOR 1989-1990 <br />OF AGREEMENT <br />BID SECURITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11103 adopted July 31, <br /> <br />1989, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the furnishing <br /> <br />of sand, aggregate, pea gravel and fines for 1989-90 Fiscal Year; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in response to said advertisement, bids were <br /> <br />received and filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />materials; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, R. <br /> <br />S. Maltoni Trucking <br /> <br />of Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing <br /> <br />of said materials, and it is the desire and intention of this <br /> <br />Council to award said bid to R. S. Maltoni Trucking, of Redwood <br /> <br />City, California; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of R. S. Maltoni, of Redwood City, California, <br /> <br />in the amount of Thirty-eight Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty-two <br /> <br />and 28/100 Dollars ($38,822.28), more or less. for the furnishing <br /> <br />of sand, aggregate, pea gravel and fines for the 1989-1990 Fiscal <br /> <br />Year, in accordance with the bidder's proposal, dated August 29, <br /> <br />1989, and in accordance with the specifications therefor on file <br /> <br />in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for the furnishing of said materials. <br />
