<br />CES:mmg 0' '13/89 (#25/027) <br /> <br />JUl 1'7 1989 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11083 <br /> <br />OidGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY-OWNED <br />PROPERTY SURPLUS, AUTHORIZING SALE THEREOF AT AUCTION, <br />AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT <br />DOCUMENTS FOR AUCTIONEER'S SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City owns that certain personal <br /> <br />property listed on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by this <br /> <br />referenced incorporated herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that such <br /> <br />property is not needed for present or prospective municipal or <br /> <br />public purposes, and should be declared surplus; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The current reasonable market value of the total of <br /> <br />each of the surplus items to be sold as a unit is less than Five <br /> <br />Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />declare said property surplus and authorize its sale in <br /> <br />accordance with Section 3~ of the Charter of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to sell said property at <br /> <br />auction; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with such sale auctioneer services <br /> <br />are required. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />
