11/23/98 <br /> _ORIGINAL _ <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13517 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE <br /> PURCHASE OF ONE (1) TREE STUMP CUTTER UNDER THE <br /> COOPERATIVE PURCHASE PROVISIONS OF THE CITY OF <br /> SACRAMENTO'S PURCHASE ORDER NO. 7325998074 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.80 of the Redwood City Code, the City <br />of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by Section 54201 of <br />the California Government Code to purchase materials, equipment, or supplies <br />on behalf of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Sacramento's Purchase Order No. 7325998074 <br />includes a Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other public agencies <br />the opportunity to purchase equipment from Vermeer, Inc. of Pleasanton, <br />California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of the City of Sacramento conforms to the <br />requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2.80; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to purchase one <br />(1) diesel powered tree stump cutter from Vermeer, Inc. pursuant to the <br />Cooperative Purchase Provision of the City of Sacramento's Purchase Order No. <br />7325998074; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Reso-539 <br />DES:djk <br />F:/Shared/Redwood/Council <br />11/05/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
