10/26/98 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13495 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE AND <br /> INSTALLATION OF A TELEPHONE SYSTEM UPGRADE FOR <br /> THE FAIR OAKS COMMUNITY CENTER; AND AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.65 of the Redwood City Code, the City <br />Clerk caused public notice inviting bids to be published for the purchase and <br />installation of a telephone system upgrade to improve and enhance the <br />telephone system at the Fair Oaks Community Center in the City of Redwood <br />City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication, three (3) bids were received; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, NEC Business Communications Systems (West), Inc. of San <br />Ramon, California, is the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to NEC Business Communications <br />Systems (West) Inc.; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1.
