<br />DAS:s\-. 5/29/87 <br /> <br />(#19) <br />JUN 1 1987 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N 0.1 0 52 S <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST REQUIRES THAT THE <br />BOUNDARIES FOR UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 1986-1 <br />BE AMENDED: PROVIDING A DESCRIPTION OF SAID AMENDED <br />BOUNDARIES: AND STATING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING <br />OBJECTIONS BY PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE AMENDING OF THE <br />BOUNDARIES OF UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 1986-1 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article II of Chapter 11 of the Code of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City provides a procedure for amending the boundaries of <br /> <br />underground utility districts wi thin portions of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager and the City Engineer have <br /> <br />reported to this Council and recommended that the boundaries of <br /> <br />Underground Utility District No. 1986-1 be amended as hereinafter <br /> <br />described: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the proposal and <br /> <br />recommendations and has determined that the public interest and <br /> <br />convenience require the amendment of the boundaries of said <br /> <br />district: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City under California Public <br /> <br />Utilities Commission rules, qualifies for reimbursements from <br /> <br />utility corporations for a portion of the costs incurred by the <br /> <br />City for undergrounding overhead utilities in said district: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. It is hereby found and determined that the utility <br /> <br />which undertakes underground installation of its facilities shall <br /> <br />use the underground conversion allocation computed pursuant to <br /> <br />1 0523 <br />
