<br />DAS:sp 4/16/87 <br /> <br />(#19) <br />ORIGINAL <br />APR 2 0 1987 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO. 10485 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) <br />WATER TANK TRUCK; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10446, adopted March 2, <br /> <br />1987, the City Clerk called for bids for the purchase of one (1) <br /> <br />water tank truck; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, one (1) bid was received for <br /> <br />the purchase of said truck; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ricker Machinery Co., Oakland, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to accept said bid and to <br /> <br />authorize execution of all necessary documents (subject to <br /> <br />approval of the City Attorney as to form) to perfect the <br /> <br />acquisition of said equipment through lease-purchase arrangement <br /> <br />in accordance with the aforesaid bid; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Ricker Machinery Co., in the sum of Seventy <br /> <br />Thousand <br /> <br />Six <br /> <br />Seventy-eight <br /> <br />73/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Hundred <br /> <br />($70,678.73), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />March 25, 1987, for the sale of one (1) water tank truck is <br /> <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to <br /> <br />be the lowest responsible bidder for said truck. <br /> <br />10485 <br />
